The church of “Koimisis tis Theotokou”, also known as “Panagia Papameletiou”, is one of the oldest and biggest churches in Skopelos Town. The interesting hand-carved temple, decorated with plants and animals, is dated back in the 17th century. Icons were made by the famous hagiographer Antonios Agorastos, in 1681.
